Sunset Drinks on Cable Beach

I’m in heaven! I’m sitting on Cable Beach in Broome, champagne in hand and watching an amazing sunset.

Every evening about 5pm, everyone heads to Cable Beach to watch the sunset.
Take the car and find a spot on the beach, bring a rug and picnic on the grass overlooking the beach, find a seat at the Sunset Bar at Cable Beach Resort or take an evening camel ride.
The options are many! In a week you can do all of these!

Imagine you are here!

I love your post! The sunset is breathtaking and the camel ride fun! (I recently posted about camel riding in Port Macquarie – but the sunset ride in Broome looks awesome!) Love the palm trees too!

Thanks so much Anita. Sunsets are stunning here- you never seem to tire of watching the sunset. Port Macquarie looked great. I bet the sunrises can be fabulous too

Oh, how beautiful!! I’m trying very hard to imagine I’m there (the pictures certainly help but the lino beneath my feet is not the same as sand).

Hi Amanda. Don’t worry about the lino, just fill the champers glass!!

It’s virtually a ritual in Broome, isn’t it. We seemed to be there every evening, finishing the day with a drink on the beach watching the sunset

That looks like a beautiful beach – and what a perfect setting for going on a camel trek. Think I would have watched with a drink in hand, though. 🙂

Thanks Julia. Cable Beach is a stunning beach – beautiful at all times of the day. We certainly had a drink or two as we watched the sunset!
